You don't know how jealous it makes me to see these photos. I am sure it's starting to feel a bit damp (and empty?) on the island, but I'd love to experience it again - especially when the rain is tipping it down here in England.
From the photos I've finally worked out where you are located. If I'm right, there's a lovely taverna on the beach to the left under some Tamarisk trees..presumably it's shut now but does lovely fresh fish when it's open. I was taken there in July by an elderly Greek friend of ours who built our villa in 1970. Happy memories. Keep posting, as I keep reading..photos from the island are always appreciated.

You are right Nick. The beach is called Piso Alyki. The taverna at the east end is called Captain Pipinos. We are at the west end less than 100 meters back.
